We had a really good meeting in Harrogate on October 18th. Nine twins were there and after an interesting session listening to each other’s progress since our last meeting in February, we went on to discuss various issues including the Lone twin bench plaque, future meetings in February and June and the visit to Kylemore.
About 20 of us turned up for a family day out at The national Memorial Arboretum. We had a picnic and an informal dedication of our new plaques, to mark our 25th Anniversary.
Along with some familiar faces, three new members came along, who were welcomed and hugged in equal measure!
It was a lovely afternoon in a very peaceful and friendly place.
Well, what a turn out we had last Saturday!
About 50 of us made the trip to a sunny Birmingham, many known faces and about eighteen new members. Emotional as the day can be, it is always so lovely to see the new members especially, smiling at the end of the day. Talking about our shared experience as lone twins certainly lifts some of the weight from our souls.
Thank you everyone for coming and making the day very special xx
